PURPOSE: To heat the whole area of a diseased part organization and to remedy it by having plural heat pipes whose tips are pointed so as to be inserted to the diseased part, a thermal source to heat the rear edge sides of the heat pipes, a controller to control the temperature of the thermal source, and a temperature sensor to measure the temperature of the diseased part.
CONSTITUTION: For three heat pipes 2 of a thermotherapy device 1, respective heat pipes 2 are inserted into a diseased part organization A1 so as to cause the center of three heat pipes 2 to be located on the approximately center of a tumor. A needle temperature sensor 6 is inserted beforehand so as to measure each internal temperature in a position made into the middle of two adjoining heat pipes 2 and 2. When a heater 3b of a thermal source part 3 is made exothermic by executing a current flowing, the heat generated by the heater 3b is made into the latent heat of an operating fluid by each heat pipe 2, the heat is transferred to a tip part 2a, it is radiated at the time of condensing it at the tip part 2a, and the diseased part organization A1 is heated from an internal part. When a low temperature part is detected except in the position of the needle temperature sensor 6, a thermotherapy is executed by increasing the exothermic quantity of the thermal source part 3 by a controller so as to make even the temperature at such a part into a set temperature or above.
