Abstract:
The method for grinding the machine component involves first grinding the active face (24) of a machine component (5) which is held on one side on its outer circumference whereby a first cylindrical grinding disc (14) is set up by its rotating circumferential face perpendicular to the active face and the machine component is moved opposite the first grinding disc towards its rotational and longitudinal axis (17) so that the axial extension of the first disc overlaps the radial inclined extension of the active face. In the same clamping mode the inner wall of the longitudinal bore is ground by bringing the smaller diameter second grinding disc (16) by pivoting the grinding spindle stock (10) supporting the two discs into the longitudinal bore and setting it radially against the inner wall. Independent claim describes grinding device with clamp for clamping the component on one side and a grinding spindle slide (9) which is movable across the rotational longitudinal axis of the component.
