To provide a thick-walled foam molded product obtained by molding crystalline thermoplastic resin foamed particles in mold and excellent in the fusibility of foamed particles up to the inside thereof, and its manufacturing method.
In the foam molded product obtained by molding thermoplastic resin foamed particles and having a size capable of being cut into spheres with a diameter of 200 mm, the foamed particles are constituted of a foamed core layer comprising the crystalline thermoplastic resin and a substantially non-foamed coating layer comprising a crystalline polyolefin polymer having a melting point lower than that of the thermoplastic resin constituting the core layer by 15°C or above or a non-crystalline polyolefin polymer having a Vicat softening temperature lower than that of the thermoplastic resin constituting the core layer by 15°C or above and the fusibility of the foamed particles in the foam molded product is 50% or above.
