Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a leg frame lightweight without reducing its strength by burying a knee joint bearing member integrally formed with a stopper restricting the rotation of a socket section when a foot is erected or a knee is folded in the leg frame so that the stopper is protruded on the inner face of the leg frame.
CONSTITUTION: A leg frame 1 incorporates a drive mechanism interlocking a leg section with the walking action of a thigh section at the time of a walk, its rear section is opened for connecting a drive mechanism and a socket section fitted to the thigh section, and the knee joint portion of the leg frame 1 has a nearly U-shaped cross section. An opening section 2 coupled with a knee joint bearing member 4 is opened on the knee joint portion at the upper section of the leg frame 1. The knee joint bearing member 4 is integrally molded with a nearly egg-shaped noncircular projection 7 and a disk, and a fixed side stopper section 16 made parallel with a fixed side stopper face when a leg is erected or a knee is folded is provided in the suspended state from the disk.
