To provide a compact thin diameter piping connection structure capable of stably connecting piping with a mating component by a simple operation while maintaining high airtightness, when the metallic piping with a relatively thin wall and thin pipe diameter of approximately 20 mm or less is connected to an automobile, various types of machines and devices or the like to perform oiling and air supply under relatively high pressure.

In the thin diameter piping connection structure, a diameter reduction part is formed at a terminal of the thin diameter piping to be inserted to an inner diameter part continued to a flow passage of the mating component by press work. After a sleeve is inserted to the outer peripheral face between the diameter reduction part and an original diameter part, forming work by press is further applied. A spool part is formed in the diameter reduction part before the inserted sleeve to fix the sleeve. The terminal of the thin diameter piping formed by fitting an O ring-shaped seal ring to the outer peripheral face of a straight part located on the front side of the spool part and of which diameter is reduced and fitting backup rings to the front and rear sides of the seal ring is inserted to the inner diameter part of the mating component, and is fastened to the mating component via a flange fitted beforehand to the outer peripheral face of the sleeve.
