Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure high accuacy in size and high efficiency.
SOLUTION: According to a manufacturing method of a thin edge grinding wheel or stone shown in figure 4, when a fluidizing grinding wheel or stone material injected in a die 50 having a light transmitting characteristic is irradiated with light through the die 50, the light setting or curing resin contained therein is set in a short time, e.g. several ten seconds and abrasive grains 14 are bound, whereby the wheel or stone 10 can be manufactured speedily at high efficiency. Since such a grinding stone or wheel 10 exists in the die 50 at the curing time, it can be hardened while the accuracy thereof is kept, and highly accurate formation sizes of thickness, diameter, warp can be obtained.
