Abstract:
To provide a thin-edged blade capable of preventing a coating layer from breaking away by heat generated during machining, maintaining the effect of clogging prevention and reduction in resistance for a long period of time, and improving the rigidity of an abrasive layer itself.
The thin-edged blade includes the abrasive layer formed in the shape of a thin circular plate in which a plurality of abrasive grains are dispersedly disposed therein, and the coating layer containing ceramics formed by aerosol deposition method on the side surfaces of the abrasive layer. Thickness of the coating layer is in the range of 1/4-1/2 of a mean particle diameter of the abrasive grains.
