Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a thin film capacitor in which a polarizing direction of a ferroelectric film is inverted to be switched to vary a switching time in the capacitor using the film.
CONSTITUTION: The thin film capacitor comprises a first capacitor A having electrodes 3 formed on both side surfaces of a ferroelectric film 1 and an auxiliary second capacitor B so formed as to surround the periphery of the capacitor A in such a manner that a switching time of the capacitor A is regulated by an electric field applied to the capacitor B.
