Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film capacitor which has superior humidity resistance and load reliability even when embedded in an electronic circuit board.SOLUTION: A film capacitor comprises: a first electrode layer 1 having one or more regions B where a distance Hbetween an interface I of the first electrode layer 1 and a dielectric layer 2, and a surface of the first electrode layer 1 becomes maximum; and an exterior layer 12 having one or more regions T where a distance Hbetween the interface I and a surface of the exterior layer 12 becomes maximum, and one or more regions t where the distance Hbetween the interface I and the surface of the exterior layer 12 does not become maximum. The following expressions (1) and (2) are satisfied: 60%≤(S/S) (1); and 60%≤(S/S) (2), where Sis a projection area when projecting all the one or more regions B on a plane in parallel with the interface I, Sis a projection area when projecting all the one or more regions T on the plane in parallel with the interface I, and S is a projection area when projecting the first electrode layer 1, the exterior layer 12 and the dielectric layer 2 on the plane in parallel with the interface I.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
