Abstract:

PURPOSE: To automatically mount and dismount an elastic plate to and from the plate cylinder of a printing roll.

CONSTITUTION: A first plate holder 2 has a pair of first chuck holes 80 of a printing roll for being held and released by a hand, which is mounted to the arm of a polyarticular robot, while a second plate holder 3 has a pair of second chuck holes 81 of the printing roll for being held and released by an automatic chuck means of the plate cylinder of the printing roll. The first plate holder 2 and the second plate holder 3 are mounted respectively to both the ends of an elastic plate.
