PURPOSE: To prevent low response to a high frequency or a Barkhauser noise by lowering magnetic reluctance by enabling lengthwise and lateral rotational conductions. CONSTITUTION: An active layer L1 at a magnetic pole 10 of a magnetic head has a lengthwise facility axis, a small edge domain 16 adjacent to a central domain 12 is located in the area of a magnetic pole chip 20, and a slender edge domain 22 is located in a yoke area 24. According to advance to the yoke section 24, magnetic flux is conducted by rotations and propagated to the downside of the adjacent domain 12. The lengthwise facility axis of an active layer L2 at the magnetic pole 10 is made lateral to the lengthwise axis of the layer L1. Then, the magnetic flux is fed from a magnetic medium toward the lengthwise direction of a lateral domain d1 existent at the chip 20 vertically to the facility axis of the layer L1, rotated under the path of low magnetic reluctance and propagated in the lengthwise direction of the domain L1 and with the accumulation of magnetic reluctance, one part of magnetic flux is propagated to the domain L2 across a gap (g) so that the magnetic reluctance of a system can be lowered.
