Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film transistor without injuring a numerical aperture even when it is made high definition and capable of correcting a pixel fault.
SOLUTION: Gate electrodes 7a, 7b are formed in each pixel area 4 surrounded by gate wiring 2 and signal wiring 3 by prolonging from the gate wiring 2, and an auxiliary capacity line 6 is provided between the gate wiring 2 nearly parallel to this gate wiring 2. Further, an activated layer 10 forming nearly a U-shape of a panel view and having a source/drain area is provided in the state overlapped with the auxiliary capacity line 6 through a gate insulation film and intersected with the gate electrode 2 through the gate insulation film. Further, a display electrode is provided on the activated layer 10 through the insulation film covering this and formed with a first connection hole 13 and a second connection hole 14. Then, a first light shield film 8 consisting of light shield material and with an area larger than the opening area of the first connection hole 13 is formed at a position the same layer as the auxiliary capacity line 6 and just under of the first connection hole 13.
