Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated multicoil type thin molded transformer which is used for switching power units used for various kinds of electronic equipment, can be manufactured with high productivity, and has highly quality, and to provide a method of manufacturing the transformer.
SOLUTION: The thin molded transformer is constituted, in such a way that a molded coil 16 is formed by molding a laminated multicoil formed by laminating plural primary and secondary windings upon another through insulators 13 with an insulating resin 15. A terminal block section 16a is connected to a middle pipe section 16b via a connecting section 16c in the molded coil 16 and magnetic cores 17 are assembled with the coil 16 from the upside and the downside. Therefore, the resin 15 becomes to flow smoothly into the middle pipe section 16b, and the moldability of the resin 15 is improved, because a flow passage is formed to the middle pipe section 16b for the resin 15.
