To provide a pump which does not require motor or bearing and is used for both of air and fluid, capable of providing size and weight reductions, and making shape flat for a pump for an electronic apparatus by eliminating a drive motor.
A set of positive and negative annular electrode plate, which has a quadrate cross section and of which curvature radiuses are different, is disposed in an identical flat surface condition and a concentric circle condition, the electrode is sandwiched by the two pieces of yoke plates excited by a magnet provided at a central portion for sealing, and fluid having conductivity is filled in an annular flow passage formed by the above means. When the fluid is excited, the fluid generates a self-rotating motion that does not require bearing in the flow passage in accordance with to the Flemming's rule. By making the phenomenon the fundamental principle for this invention, various effective additional effects are obtained. For use as the pump under the phenomenon, a plurality of groove typed nozzles are opened in the fluid, a negative pressure generation phenomenon generated by a viscosity effect of the fluid is used to constitute the pump which can suck both the air and the fluid. A filter is used to separate the sucked substance from the fluid for discharge.
