Abstract:
To facilitate the formation of a highly crystalline thin organic molecularly oriented film in which the molecules are orderly arranged by forming a film of a specified x conjugated oligomer by a vacuum deposition method.
A 0.5-1μm thick film of a π conjugated oligomer containing structural units represented by formulas I and II (wherein X is S, NH, N-CH3 or CH=CH) or of a π conjugated oligomer represented by formula III [wherein Y and Z are each X; R1 and R2 are each H, a 1-10 C alkyl or an aromatic ring which may have an alkyl or an alkoxyl or a heterocyclic ring which may have an alkyl or an alkoxyl; and (o+p+q)×3=3-20] is formed on a substrate by a vacuum deposition method.
