Title:
THIN PROFILE CRYSTAL RESONATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01126818
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To cope with small size and thin profile by using only a metallized layer for electrode so as to support the crystal resonator obtained by the photolithography method without special provision of a step for the support to a container itself and accommodating it.

CONSTITUTION: The resonator consists of a ceramic-made case 1 and an electrode metallized layer 3 and the metallized layer 3 is formed to be swollen by the metallized part from a part 6 not subject to metallizing for electric connection purpose. That is, the base 5' of the resonator made by the photolithography method is supported to a step of nearly 20∼10μm thick by the metallized part by means of an adhesives or the like. Thus, the crystal resonator for surface mount with small size and thin profile capable of being applied to an IC card or the like is obtained.
