PURPOSE: To improve the operability of thin shaving by turning out the top end part of a square shaped frame part on the opposite side of a grip part, setting the turned-out top end part at a specified angle to the lengthwise axial line of the grip part and mounting a blade in the pocket of turning-out.
CONSTITUTION: This thin shaving cutter is composed of a grip part 2 and square shaped frame part 1 provided at the top end of the grip part. Then, the top end of the square shaped frame 1 is turned out, and a blade 3 is mounted at a sheath part 6 in the turned-out structure while turning the tip of the blade toward the grip part 2 and fixed by screws 5. Besides, the blade is fitted to the grip part 2 at the prescribed angle to the square shaped frame part 1 so that the contact of the blade 3 and a surface to be cut can be secured. Besides, the blade 3 is fitted to the grip part 2 especially at an angle smaller than 90° to its lengthwise axial line. Thus, when performing a thin shaving cutting by pulling the grip part 2 backward, the effect of cutting due to the oblique pulling of a cutting part is secured and sharpness is improved. Further, a frame hole 4 is formed on the square shaped frame part 1 and the conditions of cutting can be observed through the frame hole 4.
