This thin-type monitoring device includes a base part supporting the lower surface of the monitor body in contact; a plurality of arm parts interposed between the back of the monitor body and the rear-end part of the base part; a base hinge part, connecting one end of each arm part and the rear part of the base part so that the arm parts are turnable with respect to the base part; a monitor hinge part connecting the other end of each arm part and the back of the monitor body so that the arm parts are turnable with respect to the monitor body; and engaging projecting parts, projected from a plurality of positions that differ in distances from the base hinge part so that in the base part, the surface thereof contact-supporting the lower surface of the monitor body, engages with the lower surface of the monitor body.
