Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a thin type transformer which stably operates at a high frequency and has little loss, by making a part of a plurality of wires a primary winding and making the residual part a secondary winding.
CONSTITUTION: Two insulated wires C11, C12 wherein the conductor section is circular and the outer periphery is insulated are made to approach in parallel, and wound in a spiral type on the same plane, thereby forming a coil body. Both ends of the insulated wires C11, C12 are equipped with the respective terminals T11, T12 and T21, T22. A thin type transformer is formed by making the insulated wire C11 and C12 a primary winding and a secondary winding, respectively. Thereby the greater part of magnetic flux generated by the primary winding is captured by the secondary winding without using a core of magnetic substance, so that the coupling between the primary winding and the secondary winding is high and iron loss is not present. As a result the efficiency is high and stable operation is possible at a high frequency.
