Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:An N-[(4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl)aminocarbonyl]-1-(3-acetl-2- thienyl)methanesulfonamide shown by the formula and its salt.
USE: A herbicide.
PREPARATION: 1-(3-Acetyl-2-thienylmethanesulfonamide shown by the formula II is reacted with a phenyl-N-(4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl)carbamate shown by the formula III (R is alkyl, alkenyl, or phenyl) and optionally 1,8- diazabicyclo[5,4,0]-7-undecene preferably at 0W80°C for 0.5W24hr.
