Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: A compd. expressed by a formula I (R1 is halogen, 1-4C alkyl, phenyl, benzyl, NO2, CF3, CN, etc.; R2 is H or R1; R3 is H or 1-4C alkyl; (n) is 1 or 2).
EXAMPLE: N-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzyl)-N'-(4-chlorophenetyl) thiourea.
USE: An analgesic and an anti-inflammatory agent, especially useful for treating inflammatory pain and hyperalgesia.
PROCESS: A compd. expressed by the formula I is obtained by allowing a compd. expressed by the formula II to react with a compd. expressed by the formula III under a basic condition and in a solvent such as dimethylformamide at -20 to 90°C.
