PURPOSE: To provide the composition having improved properties for preventing the formation of silica films and dirty spots and containing water, an organic detergent or the like, an agent for preventing formation of silica films, polymer of acrylic acid or the like and a thixotropic thickening agent.

CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises (A) water, (B) one or more components selected from a group consisting of organic detergents, bleaching agents containing chlorine, builders for detergents, sequestering agents for metallic ions and antifoaming agents, (C) about 0.5-5% of agents for preventing the formation of silica films, (D) about 2-14% of the polymer of acrylic acid or its salt and (E) about 2.5-10% of a thixotropic thickening agent.
