Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thixotropy-imparting agent capable of imparting thixotropy without deteriorating a color tone or quality of a coating, a coating dilution agent, a coating composition and a molded article having the coating by the coating composition.SOLUTION: The thixotropy-imparting agent contains polyglycerol mono fatty acid ester represented by the following formula (1), RC(=O)O-(CHO)-H (1), where R represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 12 to 14 carbon atoms, n represents a polymerization degree of glycerine and is an integer of 10 or more, and having HLB of 10.0 or more. The coating dilution agent contains the thixotropy-imparting agent, polyalcohol and water.SELECTED DRAWING: None
