Title:
THOMSON BLADE MACHINING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013141671
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To cut and grind a Thomson blade to a length good in machining accuracy.
Before cutting and separating the Thomson blade, only an upper part of the Thomson blade is punched with a mold of the shape having relief 24 when grinding or the tapered shape, at a leader and a trailer, the leader and the trailer are ground with a lower part left being connected, and thereafter are separated. The Thomson blade good in length accuracy is manufactured by cutting a chip by mold cutting in the Thomson blade, after punching the upper part with the mold having the relief 24 of a grinding part and grinding the leader and the trailer before cutting the full length of the Thomson blade.
