PURPOSE: To stabilize a forward end of a supplied thread, and insert the forward end of the thread into a small-diameter hole securely in a thread guide to supply the thread by blowing air from nozzles, and setting positions of the nozzles in such a way that air blow forces are balanced to each other at an apart place from a supply part.

CONSTITUTION: In a thread guide 14, a thread is sucked from an introduction port 171 by blow of air from plural nozzles 175 to be sent through a passage 173 and supplied from a supply port 172. The introduction port 171 is formed at an upper end of a thread guide cylinder 170, the supply port 172 is formed at a lower end, and the passage 173 for inserting the thread is formed. The plural nozzles 175 are arranged in circumferential walls of the passage 173, and air is blown toward the supply port 172 for forming a negative pressure at the introduction port 171. Positions of the nozzles 175 are disposed at a constant interval at positions around an axial line 173a as a center in such a way that their center lines of their blow directions cross each other at a place 175b, so that air blow forces blown from the nozzles 175 are balanced at an apart place from the supply port 172.
