Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a yarn end from dropping by providing a member which is projected into a yarn handling area for a thread to be taken in a package when the yarn is broken to remove the yarn from a traverse guide, and guide the yarn to a designated position in the package.
SOLUTION: In the case of thread breakage, when a yarn is cut, and the yarn end slub catcher is detected, a solenoid 81 is turned off to release holding of an arm 80. With the release operation, a yarn spring plate 72 is turned on a fulcrum 73 clockwise to take the yarn spring plate 72a position. That is, the plate is projected to the yarn Y. When the traversed yarn Y is brought into contact with the end faces 85a, 86a of the projected thread spring plate 72a, the yarn Y is handled inside by the tension of the yarn Y to be guided to the inclined end faces 87a, 88a. The yarn Y guided to the inclined end faces 87a, 88a is handled further inside along the inclination and guided to a groove 85 to be put in the state of the yarn Ya. The yarn Ya is taken up in a position Yb of a package 8 and the yarn end is taken up in the position Yb.
