The testing apparatus simulates a vehicle collision relating to invasion into a cabin of a vehicle, for example, a "small overlap" or "offset" collision. The apparatus is provided with a thread truck 11 and a testing back 15. The thread truck 11 is mounted to make linear movement along a testing shaft 14. The testing back 15 includes a first structure 16 mounted to the truck 11 to perform guide movement for the truck. The apparatus is constituted so that the testing back 15 further includes a second structure 17 mounted to the truck to make a first structure 16 move relative to the second structure 17 during the guide movement.
