Abstract:
To provide a thread winder capable of improving an operating efficiency of a thread splicing carriage.SOLUTION: A spinning machine 1 includes: a plurality of thread winding units 2 each having an air spinning device 7 for supplying a thread Y and a winding device 13 for winding the thread Y supplied from the air spinning device 7 to form a package P; a thread splicing carriage 3 having a suction mouse 28 that captures the thread Y from the package P, and a thread splicing device 26 that performs a thread splicing operation for connecting the thread Y from the air spinning device 7 and the thread Y from the package P when the thread Y is split between the air spinning device 7 and the package P, and movably provided for the plurality of thread winding units 2; a cutter 26k provided in the thread splicing device 26, and for cutting the thread Y; and a control unit 15 that operates the cutter 26k before the thread splicing carriage 3 starts moving toward the other thread winding unit 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
