Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threading tool which can improve durability of a chip and productivity of cutting work therefor, a chip, and a holder.SOLUTION: A threading tool 31, which is used for threading of a work-piece 23, includes a holder 311 in which at least three chip seats 313 are formed at intervals of three equal parts along a concentric circle of an axis O, and a chip 314 which can be attached to and detached from each chip seat 313 and on which plural blades are formed. The chip 314 includes a first blade 314_c, and a second blade 314_d. The chip is installed onto the chip seat 313 so that the work-piece 23 contacts a rear part of a ridge line 314_d1 of the second blade 314_d excluding a tip, and the chip is so formed that the ridge line 314_d1 of the second blade 314_d is positioned nearer to the axis O than a ridge line 314_c1 of the first blade 314_c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
