To provide a three-axis active control type magnetic bearing that is easily produced and has improved mechanical strength.
A three-axis active control type magnetic bearing comprises a radial winding 1, a radial control stator 2, a permanent magnet 3, a thrust control stator 4, and two axially split thrust windings 5a and 5b, and generates axial supporting forces for a cylindrical rotor in the directions of three axes in total, including two radial axes and one thrust axis. A non-magnetic ring 16 having an annular portion 16c extending radially between the two axially split thrust windings 5a and 5b is provided. The outermost periphery of the annular portion 16c is in contact with the inner diameter of a cylindrical portion 4a of the thrust control stator 4 while the innermost periphery of the annular portion 16c is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the radial control stator 2.
