Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new three component type electrolysis tank for tritium recovery capable of attaining the improvement in the removal ratio of tritium in an electrolytic method, and a system for tritium recovery using the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a three component type electrolysis tank for tritium recovery comprising an anode chamber placed with an anode electrode; an intermediate chamber separated from the anode chamber with an anode side electrolytic membrane and poured with tritium-containing water; and a cathode chamber separated from the intermediate chamber with a cathode side electrolytic membrane and placed with a cathode electrode, in which a photocatalyst is placed at the intermediate chamber, and further, the photocatalyst is irradiated with light including a wavelength dissociating the bonding between tritium and oxygen, and also provided is a tritium recovery system multistage-connected therewith.
