Abstract:
To provide a three-cylinder internal combustion engine which can appropriately halt fuel injection and ignition combustion to improve fuel consumption performance, while suppressing vibration.SOLUTION: A three-cylinder horizontal opposed internal combustion engine 100 includes a first cylinder 1 disposed in one side with respect to an axis line 10c of a crank shaft 10, a third cylinder 3 disposed in the same side as the first cylinder 1 with respect to the axis line 10c of the crank shaft 10, and a second cylinder 2 disposed in an opposite side to the first cylinder 1 with respect to the axis line 10c of the crank shaft 10 and having a cylinder capacity approximately equal to the sum of cylinder capacities of the first and third cylinders 1, 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
