Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a point contact three-dimensional cam lifted by one intake cam lobe to perform a stepless continuous variable control over a lift amount, working angle and timing of an intake valve and an exhaust valve.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a valve gear having a plurality of intake valves per cylinder in which point contact three-dimensional cam lobes having roller swing arms, integrally rotated together with cam shafts in response to a degree of opening of an accelerator and a driving condition and capable of performing an axial relative motion are slid, lift amounts, working angles and timings of intake and exhaust valves are controlled in a stepless continuous variable manner and further one exhaust cam shaft and twin intake cam shafts are provided, the exhaust side has cam lobes and roller swing arms for every cylinder and the intake side has cam lobes and roller swing arms for every valves.
