Title:
THREE-DIMENSIONAL CIRCULAR LOOM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01183550
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To wind a required number of steps of circumferential yarns around a core material from plural shuttles running through a spiral guide path and, at the same time, to perform smooth weaving even with a highly elastic yarn by the rotation of the eyes of a number of healds. CONSTITUTION:A shuttle including the 1st yarn (circumferential yarn) is introduced into a guide path and successively transferred downward along a spiral path. The yarns are wound round the outer circumference of a core material by a required number of steps in such a manner as to position the yarns delivered from the top and the bottom shuttles to the outermost and the innermost layers, respectively. The eye of the top heald is transferred to the bottom keeping the above state and the eyes of the other healds are transferred upward by one step. Even a hardly bendable yarn having high elastic modulus or large denier can be woven because the 1st yarn is inserted into the opening formed by the second yarn disposed radially from the core material and is wound round the outer circumference of the core material and, at the same time, the weaving is proceeded by the rotation of each eye of the heald.
