To improve the physical properties of a connection part of a three- dimensional fiber structure composed of plural plates continuously connected with each other forming a bent part at the connection part and to facilitate the insertion work of yarn to bond the yarn layers at the connection part.
This three-dimensional fiber structure F is composed of a pair of plates 1a, 1b connected with each other at a corner part 2 in bent form at a prescribed angle to form a nearly L-shaped cross section. Each of the plates 1a, 1b is composed of an x-yarn layer, a y-yarn layer and a bias yarn layer arranged in parallel to each other, yarn (z) directing in the thickness direction and connecting the yarn layers with each other and yarn (c) for forming the corner part. The thickness direction yarn (z) is oriented in the thickness direction of the three-dimensional fiber structure F in a state perpendicularly crossing each yarn layer to bond the layers throughout the structure excluding the corner part. Plural number of the yarns (c) for the corner part are arranged parallel to a plane bisecting the angle between two adjacent plates 1a, 1b. The arrangement pitch of the corner yarn (c) is nearly equal to the pitch of the thickness direction yarn (z).
