PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain three-dimensional fiber structure suitable for a fiber- reinforced composite material to be used through binding to other part(s) so as to result in a smooth and continuous surface.
SOLUTION: This three-dimensional fiber structure F is formed with the section in nearly L-shaped fashion where two plate-like portions 1a, 1b are mutually jointed in a flexed way through the corner portion 2. The plate-like portions 1a, 1b are each composed of a group of laminated yarns 3 made up of (x)-yarn layers, (y)-yarn layers and bias yarn layers and yarns (z) in the thickness direction mutually binding the respective yarn layers and yarns (c1) and (c2) for both corners. The group of laminated yarns 3 is made up of inside layer 3a and outside layer 3b, and in the corner portion 2, filler fibers 4 are arranged between both the layers 3a and 3b. The yarns (z) are arranged rectangularly to the respective yarn layers in the portions other than the corner portion 2 and bind the respective yarn layers. The yarns (c1) for the 1st corner are arranged in parallel with the plane dividing the angle made by both the plate-like portions 1a, 1b in half, while the yarns (c2) for the 2nd corner are arranged rectangularly to the yarns (c1).
