To provide a three-dimensional flower bed-forming base frame enabling optional formation of a planar shape of a three-dimensional flower bed and irrigation piping without time and labor, suppressing drying of flowering plants so as to keep the three-dimensional flower bed in good condition for a long period of time.
The three-dimensional flower bed-forming base frame comprises the following: a base plate 1 formed into a plane state through joining a lot of rings 10 each having a prescribed size; a base face body 2 having a plane surface whose shape is almost the same as that of a curved surface formed by the opening surface of the ring 10, and placed at a position spaced a predetermined interval away from the base plate 1; a water-retaining body 3 set at the surface of the base face body 2; a foundation part 5 supporting the weight of the base plate 1, the base face body 2, the water-retaining body 3, flowering plants 41 and the like; and a piping system composed of a pipe 63 feeding water to the water-retaining body 3, a nozzle body 6 and the like. When a flower pot 4 for the flowering plant 41 is inserted/held in the opening surface (an insertion opening 1a) of the ring 10, the bottom face of the flower pot 4 is in press-contact with the water-retaining body 3 so that the flowering plant 41 absorb water supplied from the nozzle body 6 mounted at the top part of the base face body 2 and spreading all over the surface of the water-retaining body 3 due to a capillary phenomenon.
