Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002294543
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a 3D-formed body of a vegetable fiber easily obtainable in high productivity by dry molding without using a pulp slurry in water in the molding process.
The 3D-formed body is produced by subjecting a mat of a mixed material mainly composed of a vegetable fiber material prepared by mixing a plant fiber and a thermoplastic resin which can be fused to the vegetable fiber by heat, to a pressing and heating process with a pair of concavo and convex pressing dies having 3D-shapes. In this process, at least a part of crossing points of fibers are adhered via the thermoplastic resin, and thus the shape is held.
