The three-dimensional image processing system comprises a projection means (a movable light source section 4) which successively projects a plurality of pattern images, having different arrangements of a bright area and a dark area of which the brightness is lower than that of the bright area onto an object, an image acquisition means (an image input section 6), which successively photographs the object onto which each pattern image is projected, and a data generation means (a three-dimensional shape acquisition section 3 and a surface properties acquisition means 1) which generates data on the three-dimensional shape and surface properties of the object using the plurality of images.
