Abstract:
To make it possible to execute stereoscopic graphic design or apply a three-dimensional instruction by a game machine or the like by inputting three-dimensional position information to an OA equipment such as a computer.
The system consists of a pen 1 provided with a semimonochromatic light source 2 inside and two pinholes 3, 4 at its tip, a screen 5 on which interference stripes 10 appear by two diffracted light components radiated from the pen 1 and an optical sensor 7 forming the image of the stripes 10, the spatial arrangement of the pen tip 1 is detected from the interval of the stripes 10 and the position of the stripes 10 on the screen and spatial information is inputted to a computer or the like.
