Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a three-dimensional input unit in which effective measurement area is ensured as much as possible for an object to be measured.
SOLUTION: The three-dimensional input unit comprises an optical system for obtaining the distance image of an object to be measured HM, and an optical system for monitoring the distance measuring area DAM of the distance measurement optical system wherein the light receiving axis of the distance measurement optical system is provided independently that of the monitor optical system and the monitoring area CAM of the monitor optical system is set larger than the distance measuring area DAM.
