To provide a three-dimensional knitted fabric for a humidifying filter, which makes a mechanism of actively supplying moisture to a humidifying filter unnecessary, which absorbs water accumulated below the filter high by the use of the base structure of two layers of the top and the back of the three-dimensional knitted fabric, and which can vaporize water with high evaporation property and a low pressure loss.
The three-dimensional knitted fabric comprises a mesh knit of top and back two layers connected by connecting threads. In the mesh knit of the top and back two layers, the area percentage of fibers occupying the whole base structure area is 20 to 70%. At least a part of the base structure comprises a water-conducting fiber bundle having a width of 0.7 to 3.5 mm and a length of 2.0 to 15.0 mm. The water-conducting fiber bundle has an apparent density of 0.2 to 0.7 g/cm3.
