Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a three-dimensional photograph with high resolution from a digital image by using an inexpensive digital printer having comparatively low resolution.
CONSTITUTION: A stereo image is produced by being fetched by a scanner 50 and processed for digital image by a host computer 58. Then, an intermediate negative 60 having the stereo image is temporarily produced by the use of a thermal printer 62. The stereo image is reduced/printed on a printing paper. A lens-like cover sheet is stuck to the printing paper, to obtain the three- dimensional photograph. Digital processing for an image can be attained and further, resolution can be increased by reduction printing.
