Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a ceiling suspension device to secure high static and dynamic stability and all the degree of freedom necessary for attaching the support base of a microscope for operation by constituting a ceiling suspension device so as to connect six connecting elements between a platform to retain the microscope for operation and a platform connected to a ceiling. CONSTITUTION: A microscope 1 for operation is fixed on a platform 2 and connected to another platform 4 fixed to the ceiling of an operation room via six connecting elements 3. Each connecting element 3 is connected to a control unit and each connecting point is placed on a virtual circle curve (a) on both platforms 2, 4. Each connecting point is placed as a pair with each neighboring points deviating about 120 deg. to each other. In that case, positions of each pair on the platform 2 deviate about 60 deg. along the circle curve (a) to each pair position on the platform 4.
