PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable three-dimensional shape measurement, simple phase connection processing and high speed measurement without excessively taking a cost and an imaging time and without damaging the resolution of an imaging device.
SOLUTION: The image of a pattern H1 is projected on an object, photographing and the shift of H1 are repeated to take in a plurality of stripe images H2 shifting a bright phase every constant amount, and the image for area classification is created. In the image for the area classification, a first value is assigned to a pixel corresponding to a pixel belonging to one half cycle in one bright cycle, a second value is assigned to the other, and a third value is assigned to the pixel corresponding to the pixel in which brightness does not change in the shift. The classification of the area in which each pixel of the first to third values continues is performed by using the image for the area classification, on the basis of the classified result the connection area of the first value and the second value mutually adjacent along the parallel direction of the stripe are classified, phase connecting processing is performed by utilizing the classified result, and the three-dimensional shaped height information of the object is extracted in accordance with the processed result.
