Abstract:

To provide three-dimensional (3D) spectacles and a display system having the 3D spectacles, capable of automatically and appropriately correcting a binocular parallax for each viewer even when the viewing positions of the multiple viewers are different.

A display system includes: a display device 2 for displaying right-eye and left-eye images; a synchronization signal transmission part 3; and 3D spectacles 1 having a right-eye shutter 12R and a left-eye shutter (12L). The 3D spectacles 1 include: a distance measurement part for measuring a distance between a ranging object located at the front of the right-eye shutter 12R and the left-eye shutter (12L) and the right-eye shutter 12R and the left-eye shutter (12L); and a parallax change part for changing the binocular parallax related to the right-eye and left-eye images in accordance with the distance measured by the distance measurement part.
