Title:
THREE-DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURAL NET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10131008
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a three-dimensional structural net widely useful for a cushioning material, a mat material, a spacer and other various uses, excellent in shape retention of solid ribbon parts for forming a network space and the whole net, not being readily deformed, improved in compression resistance, high in void retention ratio, and light in weight, capable of maintaining excellent elastic force.

This three-dimensional net is formed by warp knitting, and comprises a surface and a back base materials 1 and 2 in a netlike state and connecting yarns 3 for connecting both the base materials at a fixed interval. In the surface and the back base materials 1 and 2, the connecting yarns 3 are hung on ribbon parts 11 and 21 for forming each net to constitute a three- dimensional ribbon part 4 and a three-dimensional network space S is formed by the three-dimensional ribbon part 4. At an arbitrary position in the knitting direction in the three-dimensional ribbon part 4, the connecting yarns 3 are transferred from a knitted stitch in which the connecting yarns are opposed from one side to the other of the surface and the back base materials 1 and 2 to a knitted stitch line apart by one line or several lines and slantingly hung to knit the objective net.
