To provide a three-dimensional video display device which can form an image of good quality.
This three-dimensional video display device is equipped with video supply parts 1R, 1G, and 1B which supply video images of respective colors of red, green, and blue and a light beam composing means 5. Each video supply part is equipped with a light source device, a liquid crystal display panel equipped with color transmission films for the respective colors, and a liquid crystal panel driving part. A light beam group is supplied from the respective pinholes of a pinhole array plate to the liquid crystal display panels. The liquid crystal display panel driving part supplies a pixel driving signal to the liquid crystal display panel to form a pixel area of the pixels corresponding to the respective pinholes. Each pixel of the pixel area controls the transmission quantity of the light beam in each direction from the corresponding pinhole, and consequently the intensity of the light beam in each direction is reproduced. The light beam composing means 5 puts together and guides light beam groups of the respective colors from the respective video supply parts to an observer.
