Title:
THREE-DIMENSIONAL WELDED CERAMIC HAVING DESIGNED PROJECTING CHARACTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006062913
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a technology for a three-dimensional welded ceramic having designed projecting characters, which comprises profiling a designed article in separate clay, then cutting off or clipping the separate clay, bonding the separate clay of the formed side to a separately formed clay main body, and unifying the main body and the designed clay by firing/welding the both at a high temperature in a furnace for ceramic art or the like, in a ceramic production process.

In the technology, designed projecting characters are profiled in clay, then the clay is cut off or clipped, further, the clay of the formed side is bonded to a separately formed ceramic main body, and the formed ceramic main body and the clay bonded to the main body are fired/welded. Thereby, the main body is easily formed without taking a long time even when it has a solid, flat or curved shape, bonding and firing/welding between same kind or different kind of clay can be carried out, and it is possible to impart a complicated change to a ceramic. Accordingly, a new advertising display or name plate made of ceramic or a three-dimensional flower vase having designed projecting characters can be produced, further, various targets using the new products can be selected, and it becomes possible to respond to the requirements of clients.
