To provide a three dimensional fabric able to suppress loosening of yarns constituting each layer even when a yarn in the thickness direction serving to bind each layer constituting the three dimensional fabric is broken, and enhance cushioning properties (elasticity) in the thickness direction.
The three dimensional fabric 11 is constituted of two or more warp layers 13 mutually arranged parallel, escape-stopping yarns 14 arranged to be perpendicular to warp yarns 12 on one side of the two or more warp yarn layers 13 and yarns Z in the width direction. The yarns Z in the width direction are arranged in a face perpendicular to the warp yarns 12 to pass through each warp yarn layer 13 from the side of the two or more warp yarn layers 13 and be folded in a state stopped by the stopping yarns 14. The yarns Z in the width direction are arranged to meander between the contiguous warp yarn layers 13 and are positioned so that the folded part stopped with the stopping yarns 14 lies in the same side of the part arranged to the same warp yarn 12 before folding.
